Amboseli National Park

This is one of the top Kenya safari national parks that is known for having big herds of elephants and stunning views. The park covers an area of about 392 square km and the vegetation is dominated by acacia woodlands, rocky thorn bushes,swamps marshlands and a Pleistocene lake known as Lake Amboseli. This premium National park is located in the southern part of kenya bordering Tanzania. The park is close to the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro which is the highest peak in Africa. It hosts the largest population of African Elephants in the entire country, This entices  visitors with its stunning rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. It is a home to iconic wildlife, hosting four members of the Big Five, from lions to the graceful zebras and countless number of bird species in its swamps and wetlands.

Other Fun Things to do in Amboseli National Park

  • Maasai Village - Visit a traditional Maasai tribal village, the Maasai live in structures known as 'Manyatta which are low height dwellings, essentially huts, made of mud, cow dung and wood, with a single entrance and minimal side windows. Clusters of these manyatta huts, which form a homestead or village, are known as a Maasai Boma

  • Hot air Balloon Safari-  Nothing is more spectacular than launching at sunrise & floating effortlessly in a hot air balloon over the Amboseli National Park
